Questions? We've Got Answers

What ages are these appropriate for?

We adapt every letter to your family's age range!

If you have multiple ages (like a 5-year-old and a 10-year-old), we lean toward the older child while keeping it accessible for younger siblings.

We already do Elf on the Shelf. Will this conflict?

Not at all! If you have a shelf elf, we weave them into the stories as Pip's friend. It ENHANCES your existing tradition without replacing it.

Don't have an elf? These letters stand alone beautifully!

When will the letters arrive?

We mail letters every Friday/Saturday. USPS typically delivers within 2-5 business
days. You'll receive an email when each batch ships. If mail delays happen, we provide digital backups immediately.

What if my child wants to write back to Pip?

How wonderful! Pip would LOVE hearing from your kids.

Parents can email us photos of letters, for faster turnaround, or mail Pip a letter by mailing it to the Plaid Pinecone Outpost. The elves there will make sure Pip gets it. ;)

Can I gift this to my grandchildren / nieces / nephews?

Absolutely! Many grandparents and aunts/uncles purchase for children they love. Just provide the child's mailing address during checkout, and we'll handle the rest. You can even add a gift note!

What's your refund policy?

Due to the personalized nature of each letter, we can't offer refunds once letters are mailed. However, if something goes wrong or you're genuinely unhappy, contact us immediately—we'll make it right. Your satisfaction matters to us.

I'm signing up in mid-December. Can I still participate?

Yes! You can purchase 1-4 letters depending on when you join. Letters are sent weekly. We will adapt your first letter to introduce Pip and why he's writing your family, and then share his stories that week.

Are these religious?

The letters focus on the wonder, kindness, and magic of Christmas—the spirit of giving, friendship, and joy. We touch on various global traditions (including mentions of Hanukkah and Kwanzaa) but aren't specifically religious. They celebrate the universal themes of light, hope, and connection.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we ship to the US mainland only (all 50 states including Alaska). We hope to expand in the future!
